Muriya is a joint venture between Orascom Development Holding (70%) and OMRAN Group (30%), the Omani government's tourism development arm. It is led by its CEO, Eng. Wael Al-Lawati, and its shareholders have invested more than US$750 million in its destinations.
Hawana Salalah covers 13.6 million m² and is described as Oman's largest Integrated Tourism Complex, with more than 1,200 hotel rooms, a 170-berth marina and four residential districts. Jebel Sifah, south-east of Muscat, has an 84-berth marina and Muscat's first ocean-facing nine-hole golf course.
Recent residential launches include Olive Farms by Raya at Jebel Sifah and Lubana Island at Hawana Salalah.
