Sarooj Construction has operated in Oman since 1976 and is part of Al Taher Group. It is one of the Sultanate's major contractors, working in earthworks, marine works, infrastructure, airports, roads and buildings.
In Sultan Haitham City — the new planned city in Seeb launched in May 2023 — Sarooj was selected to develop neighbourhood A13: about 86,000 m² of land with 287 homes and an investment of around RO 31.6 million. Homelist lists this project as Sarooj Oasis.
